 Region 66 Volunteer Agreement: Referee Requirements
The region may prohibit a team from post season play if minimum requirements are not met.

 

 Teams MUST fulfill their individual and team requirements as listed below:

During Regular Season Play
• Referees may only represent two (2) teams at a time, until completion of team requirement.
 
• Regional Referee Administrator reserves the right to place a cap on referee assignments per team, per week.
 
• Referees will be held responsible for reporting the correct team information on the game card. Failure to do so may result in non-credit.
 
• Divisions U5–U8 are exempt from this section.
 
• If a team has earned less than the required assignments listed below for their specified divisions, their season will end at the conclusion of Regular Fall Season Play.
 
Divisions U10-U14:
• Must provide at least two (2) trained and certified referees, of which one (1) must be over 18 years of age.
 
• Must complete a minimum of eight (8) centers and ten (10) assistant referee assignments.
 
• Must provide one (1) NEW Regional referee, over 18 years of age, to complete four (4) of the eighteen (18) required referee assignments.
 
Divisions U16-U19:
 Must provide at least one (1) trained and certified referee, of which must be over 18 years of age.
 
• Must complete a minimum of four (4) centers and six (6) assistant referee assignments.
 

During Post Season Play Offs

 Divisions U10-U19 must complete 4 referee assignments in order to advance to Semi Finals. If a team has earned less than the required 4 assignments, their Fall Season will end at the conclusion of the Post Season Play Offs.

  


   Referee Non-Abuse Policy

The primary goal of AYSO Region 66 is to ensure that each experience for its volunteers is FUN, FAIR and SAFE. This policy is being implemented to eliminate referee abuse, both physical and verbal, and to discourage public dissent of a referee. This policy only applies to the discipline of adult spectators and coaches:
