AYSO Region 66

About Us

AYSO Region 66 is a part of the American Youth Soccer Organization,
primarily serving the cities of Ontario and Montclair along with it's surrounding communities.
Registration is open to all boys and girls meeting the age qualifications.

The 6 Philosophies of AYSO :
Everyone Plays
In Region 66 all players will play at least half of every game and 3/4 game in U12, U10, U8, U6 and U5.
Open Registration
AYSO has sign-ups, not try-outs. As long as there is space on a team, every child who signs up will play.
Balanced Teams
Each season new teams are formed as balanced as possible;it is fair and more fun when teams of equal ability play.
Positive Coaching
AYSO believes in building soccer skills and self-worth through encouragement and teaching.
Good Sportsmanship
We strive to create and promote positive behavior and environment on the fields and on the sidelines.
Player Development
AYSO Focuses on developing each player to their personal best.

AYSO is an ALL-VOLUNTEER organization. To join Region 66's team of volunteers, please register online at www.eayso.org, print 3 copies of your volunteer application and contact our CVPA, See Contact Page.

SAFEHAVEN-ONLINE
Take the link to complete the Safe Haven Training Course for Volunteers.
Safe Haven is a child and volunteer protection program designed for Intervention and Prevention.

ID Badges
The ID Badge issue dates in the Region Handbook are not correct. Please do not go by the dates in the Region Handbook.

New ID Badge Issue Date Schedule
All Coaches, Assistant Coaches and Team Parrents are required to obtain an ID Badge

ID Badges will be issued behind the snack bar in the referee room.
ID's will be issued to those volunteers with a current 2009 Volunteer form, Safe Haven Certification and Age Appropriate Coach Training.
Please ensure these requirments are obtained prior to assigned ID issue date

Volunteer Form and AYSO ID #'s
Anyone needing to fill out a Volunteer form or receive their issued AYSO ID#, Region CVPA will be available:
Monday's & Wednesday's
6:30pm-7:30pm
Referee Room (located behind Munoz snack bar)

Region 66 Volunteer Agreement
AYSO Region 66 is a 100% volunteer Organization. All teams must provide the following requirements to ensure a successful season for all players:
- an Assistant Coach
- a Team Manager
- Team Volunteers to complete an assigned snack bar duty
- Team Volunteers to complete an assigned field duty
- Meet specified referee requirements and referee assignments**
**only applicable to Divisions U10-U19

ID BADGES ARE REQUIRED

ALL AYSO COACHES, ASSISTANT COACHES AND TEAM MANAGER MUST HAVE A REGION 66 PHOTO ID.

ID CARD Questions or to inquire about the next avalible time to get you ID,

Please be careful with your cards. There will be a $3.00 fee to replace any lost card.

WE PLAY IN THE RAIN!
It is our policy to allow games to be played on rainy days. With safety in mind, the only exception is when there is lightning present. Division Coordinators will contact coaches with updates.
